Where are you from? Originally Peoria,  Where I claim? Lincoln
How did you get involved in BMX?
Well, let's see..  It all started
when I was at my cousin Bob's house and saw his Patterson 20
inch.  He showed me his trophies and then the next week my
mom took me to the Loami track to meet him.  I rode the track
and was hooked from there.

How long have you been involved in BMX?
It started in 1988-89
through 1996.  Then I took off and made a come back tour in
2007.  So some where around 20 years.  Never did I ever forget
the BMX in my off time.

Tell us about your family-
Married?
NO
Kids?
I have two beautiful children, Cody -8, and Shelby -7
Pets?
NO
Most memoriable moment in BMX?
My very first race and my
crash in the second moto, my first #1 state plate, and making my
mains at the grands on both bikes.  Most recently my first year
back winning my cruiser class in state and seeing all my old
racing buddies, and meeting all my new friends and new people.

Favorite Food?
Steak and Potatoes
Favorite Color?
John Deere Green
Outside of BMX what are your hobbies/Interests?
Wake
boarding, my family, friends, and just handing out.

Favorite Race/Track?
Has to be Evansville.  I can't wait to go
back.

What is something that the Illinois BMX Family may not know
about you?
That I proudly served 8 years in the United States
Coast Guard.

How long have you been involved in the Illinois State Board?

Pretty much my whole racing career.
 I was always with my
parents while they where involved.

Why did you choice to run for a board position?
I wanted to try
and make it fun again, and give back to the sport and people
that have done so much for me.

What are your goals for the 2008 season?
 To have a great
smooth running state series, and get all of our riders ready to
take a big trophy at the presidents cup this year.  Most of all lets
have some fun!!!

Anything else you would like to add?
 If anybody want to ask me
something please do not be afraid to talk to me.  I may be new to
the board, but I have been around for along time.
State Competition Manager/Referee Duties
The State Competition Manager/State Referee shall
supervise the scheduling of the State
Race Series, double points races, and creation of special
race series subject to approval
by the Board of Commissioners and will control all State races
as Referee in accordance
with NBL/INBL rules.

List of Duties:

a.        Attend all State Qualifying races
b.        Check track before races
       (1)        Safety
       (2)        Track Condition
c.        Talk with Track Director on days activities
       (1)        Start Times
       (2)        Solicit Volunteers
d.       Conduct riders meeting
e.       Organize flag parade
f.        Meet with volunteers to explain duties
g.       Make sure all officials in position at start of race
h.       Investigate protests
i.        Run Team Series
       (1)        Track Team rosters
       (2)        Track Team Points
j.        Monitor rider conduct
k.       Fill out accident reports
l.        Transport first aid bag to State Races
